Suarez left out of Mexico World Cup team

Claudio Suarez was left out of Mexico's World Cup squad, despite insisting he would recover from a broken leg sustained in April.

Suarez has been the mainstay of the Mexican defence for years, and set a world record of 170 international caps. He suffered a broken leg in training on April 11, and is bitter over coach Javier Aguirre's decision to leave him at home.
