Irish duo sit out World Cup training

Jason McAteer and Matty Holland sat out Ireland's light training session at their pre-World Cup base in Saipan today.

Both are nursing ankle knocks following the defeat to Nigeria at Lansdowne Road on Thursday night, but neither injury is believed to be serious and they are expected to join the rest of the squad in training tomorrow.
