Abreu goals sink China
Late goals from Sebastian Abreu gave Uruguay a 2-0 win over China in their pre-World Cup friendly.
Abreu, who has now notched six goals in his last four games for the national team, also found the net just before half-time only for referee Piromnya Chalah to disallow the effort.
But he was not to be denied with strikes in the 74th and 88th minutes.
Both teams used the match to try out various combinations, with China coach Bora Milutinovic making nine substitutions in the second half.
Uruguay next travel to play Singapore on Tuesday.
