Kennedy to miss World Cup

Mark Kennedy looks to be out of the Irish World Cup squad through injury, according to reports.

Kennedy got injured in the last few minutes of Niall Quinn's testimonial last night, in which he scored the opener.

The Wolves player is believed to have suffered a reaction to his groin injury, and his place in the squad could go to Colin Healy or Stephen Reid.
