Ferguson waiting on Irwin
Alex Ferguson will wait until the last minute before revealing his plans for Manchester United’s home clash with Charlton tomorrow.
Nicky Butt is definitely out with a knee ligament injury and the United boss is waiting to see if Denis Irwin has recovered from a bruised hip before he can be included for what looks like being his final game at the club.
Irwin is due to leave Old Trafford this summer after a 12-year career which has seen him win more honours than any other United player.

Ronny Johnsen trained yesterday after recovering from an ankle knock and may be involved in defence along with Ronnie Wallwork.
Uruguayan striker Diego Forlan is favourite to lead the attack alongside Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
In midfield Ferguson must decide whether to include record signing Juan Sebastian Veron or bring in a youngster with Luke Chadwick, Quinton Fortune, Michael Stewart and Bojan Djordjic all waiting in the wings.
