Feyenoord are the 2002 UEFA Cup champions after defeating Borussia Dortmund in the final at the Feyenoord stadium in Rotterdam.

First-half goals from Pierre Van Hoiijdonk - one from the spot, the other from a free-kick - sent the Dutch club on their way against 10-man Dortmund after Kohler saw red.

Amorouso pulled one back for Dortmund but Tomasson struck for the Dutch side almost immediately.

A wonder goal by Koller pulled Dortmund to within one, but Feyenoord held on for the win.
