Wenger set to join management elite
Arsene Wenger this week stands on the brink of booking his place in the English game’s management Hall of Fame.
A draw at Manchester United on Wednesday would bring the Frenchman his second double and cement his reputation as one of the outstanding bosses of his generation.
He has had some hard acts to follow - Sir Matt Busby, Bill Shankly, Bob Paisley, Don Revie, Brian Clough and, still his closest competitor, Sir Alex Ferguson.
Ultimate success this season would confirm his rightful place among those illustrious names, but just where does he rank in the pantheon of domestic football?
