Summer football in the Eircom League will begin on July 7, with champions Shelbourne away to Cork City, while St Pat's face an away trip to Dublin rivals Shamrock Rovers.

In the First Division the league's newest team, Kildare County, must travel to Co Cork to face Cobh Ramblers.
