Gerard Houllier says he hopes to offer new contracts to three of his Liverpool stars before the end of the season.

Danny Murphy, Vladimir Smicer and Patrik Berger are all keen to extend their deals at Liverpool, but the Reds' hectic schedule over recent weeks has prevented contract talks taking place.
