Soccer: Wenger has faith in his Gunners

Arsene Wenger is convinced his Arsenal side will win the Premiership, and he wants the title wrapped up before they travel to Old Trafford on May 5.

‘‘Of course I think we’re going to win the league,’’ Wenger told The Sun.

‘‘I don’t feel under any pressure at all. Our target is to win every game and if we manage to do that, nobody can stop us.

‘‘Hopefully the title will be resolved before we play at Manchester United but if we go to Old Trafford still needing a result, we’ll take the points up there as well.

‘‘At the beginning of the season we were too obsessed with scoring goals and not enough with defending well. But we have been putting in outstanding performances for a long time.

‘‘There is a strong mental stamina about this squad, and we want to go all the way.’’
