Shelbourne were crowned champions, for the moment at least, as they churned out this uninspiring scoreless draw with UCD at Tolka Park.

Chances were at a premium in a drab match.

But St. Pat's being docked the 15 points for fielding Mbabazi in the opening five games of the season came back to haunt them and hand the Shels the title.
