Champions League: United and Bayern through to last eight

Manchester United FC and FC Bayern Munich, who drew 1-1 the last time they met, again could not be separated, with the German champions holding their English counterparts to a scoreless draw at Old Trafford.

A point apiece was good enough to see both teams into the last eight, where they met last season, Bayern winning en route to lifting the trophy, as Boavista failed to beat Nantes in France.
