Premiership: Spurs reject rumours of Yorke bid

Tottenham have rejected rumours that they are on the verge of signing striker Dwight Yorke from Manchester United.

Reports suggested Tottenham were preparing a £5m (€8.1m) bid for the Trinidad and Tobago international after he fell out of favour at Old Trafford.

However, Spurs manager Glenn Hoddle said today that he is not interested in adding to his squad.
