Premiership: Sheringham and Ferdinand to miss Leicester clash

Glenn Hoddle is again likely to rest captain Teddy Sheringham, Les Ferdinand and Chris Perry for the visit of Leicester.

All three players are on four yellow cards for the season, and a booking would rule them out of the Worthington Cup final in just over a fortnight.

Leicester will be without Muzzy Izzet at White Hart Lane.

The midfielder will be serving a one-match ban after collecting five yellow cards for the campaign.

But Dave Bassett is confident Andrew Impey (knee), Frank Sinclair (hip), James Scowcroft (groin) and Robbie Savage (calf) should all be fit.

Jordan Stewart is set to be among the substitutes even though he will need an operation in a fortnight on his dislocated shoulder.
