Newcastle have taken the lead after a controversial penalty for handball at Peterborough in the FA Cup fourth round.

Alan Shearer scored from the spot.

Peterborough grabbed a lifeline against the Premiership side Newcastle Utd when David Farrell scored a goal from 30 yards to equalise the score, after a Newcastle own goal nabbed one back for the Posh.

Andy O'Brien was the hero turned villain as his strike put the visitors ahead, but after the break he slotted the ball into his own net.

Solano had fed Bellamy at the end of the first half and when Simon Rea tackled him, unfortunately for Posh the ball fell for McClen who kept his head to finish expertly past Tyler.
