FA Cup: Middlesbrough to play Man United

Middlesbrough have booked their place in the Fourth round of the FA Cup and will meet Man United after beating Wimbledon 2-0.

Noel Whelan put the home side ahead before Kenny Cunningham scored an own goal in the 81st minute.

Fulham also overcame Wycombe in their 3rd round replay thanks to Barry Hayles 67th minute winner. The Cottagers will now face York in the next phase.

Crewe created a surprise by beating Sheffield Wednesday 2-1. Steve Foster got the winner after Ben Rix had put them ahead. Matt Hamshaw got a consolation for the Owls.

Preston will meet Sheffield United in the next round after a comfortable 2-0 win over Brighton. Erik Skora and Jon Macken got the goals.

Peterborough and Darlington must meet again after a 2-2 draw. The winner of that tie meets Newcastle.
