Soccer star Adam Proudlock was due in court today charged with affray.

Soccer star Adam Proudlock was due in court today charged with affray.

The 20-year-old Wolverhampton Wanderers striker was arrested in connection with an alleged incident which took place in Newport, Shropshire, over the Christmas period.

He was due to appear before magistrates in Telford.

Proudlock, who played for the England under-16s team, joined the Division One side in 1997 under the club’s youth training system, but has recently been sidelined through injury.
