World Cup: Trip to cost fans €5,700

Irish travel agents have confirmed that a package tour to see Ireland’s three World Cup group games in Japan this summer will cost around €5,700.

Travel firms have yet to finalise exact quotes, but they have estimated that flights, transfers, internal travel and a room in a four or five-star hotel will cost a minimum of €5,700.

The cost of match tickets hasn’t been determined yet and is not included in the tentative price.
