FA Cup: Sheringham to miss Coventry tie

Tottenham boss Glenn Hoddle is without Teddy Sheringham for tomorrow’s FA Cup trip to Coventry.

Sheringham lost his appeal for his sending-off for violent conduct against Ipswich last month and begins a three-game ban.

The striker’s absence means a probable start for Sergei Rebrov, who played the last eight minutes of Spurs’ 1-1 draw at Aston Villa on Saturday.

Hoddle’s other big decision is whether to bring back goalkeeper Neil Sullivan, who has been kept out recently by Kasey Keller and spent the afternoon at Villa Park on the substitutes’ bench.
