Soccer: Weather causes havoc with New Year's Day matches

Cold weather has played havoc with the New Year's day football programme.

First Division leaders Burnley have seen their game with Bradford postponed and Portsmouth's game with Wimbledon has also fallen victim to the elements. Both games have been called off after pitch inspections deemed the frozen surfaces unplayable.
