Darren Huckerby hailed Manchester City’s ‘‘thoroughly deserved’’ 5-1 victory over table-toppers Burnley at Maine Road today.

City’s former Leeds striker completed the job with the final City goal in the 90th minute, after Paulo Wanchope had put the hosts out of sight with a first-half hat-trick.
