Aston Villa are in danger of being without midfielder Lee Hendrie for tomorrow’s clash with Tottenham.

Aston Villa are in danger of being without midfielder Lee Hendrie for tomorrow’s clash with Tottenham.

Hendrie is struggling to shake off the ankle injury that forced him off during the defeat by Liverpool at Villa Park on Boxing Day.

Ian Taylor, who took over from Hendrie against Liverpool, is on alert to start at Villa Park tomorrow if Hendrie is ruled out.

Winger David Ginola is able to return to the squad against his former club after completing a three-match ban following his recent dismissal against Leicester.

Villa will once again be without the injured trio of Alpay, Mark Delaney and Mustapha Hadji who all hope to return to action early in the new year.
