Longford Town are believed to be chasing UCD manager Paul Doolin as a replacement for Stephen Kenny, who left the midland club for Bohemians earlier this month.

Longford hope to find a new manager before tomorrow night’s game against St Patrick’s Athletic and Doolin’s name is believed to be on a shortlist of four potential replacements.

The other names linked with the vacant managerial job are Sligo’s Dan O’Riordan, former Drogheda manager Martin Lawlor and Bobby Browne of Monaghan United.
