SPL: Hoops linked with Tihinen
Viking Stavanger coach Benny Lennartsson has claimed Hannu Tihinen has attracted the interest of Celtic.
Tihinen has already been on loan at West Ham and was one of the key players when Viking dumped Kilmarnock out of the Uefa Cup earlier this year.
Martin O'Neill has already hinted that he could be set to strengthen his squad, despite Celtic being runaway league leaders at the moment.
The Irishman said earlier this month that he would "try to improve the team" following their exit from the Uefa Cup at the hands of Valencia.
Although he admitted Celtic have watched the 25-year-old, Lennartsson was remaining tight-lipped as to whether he would allow the Finnish star to leave the Norwegian side.
He said: "I know that Celtic have been to watch him but there is probably no more than that just now."
