Robbie Fowler arrested

England and Leeds United striker Robbie Fowler was arrested in relation to an alleged incident of criminal damage, police said today.

Fowler, 26, who recently transferred from Liverpool in a £11m deal, was arrested along with a 25-year-old man in the Hunslet area of Leeds last night.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: ‘‘Two men aged 25 and 26 were arrested in relation to an alleged incident of criminal damage in Hunslet at 11.45pm last night.

‘‘They were arrested and released without charged.’’
