FA Cup: Aston Villa draw United in third round

The draw for the third round of the AXA FA Cup has been made.

Holders Liverpool face Birmingham - the side they beat in last year's Worthington Cup final.

Manchester United travel to Aston Villa, while Arsenal are also away to Watford.

There will be a re-run of the 1987 final at Highfield Road where Coventry take on Tottenham, who they beat 3-2 at Wembley 14 years ago, while Newcastle and Sunderland are at home to Crystal Palace and West Brom respectively.

The ties will be played on the weekend of January 5/6/7.
