Soccer: Ireland set for friendly match against France

Ireland are set to meet world and European champions France in a friendly game ahead of the World Cup finals next year, according to reports this morning.

An Irish newspaper claims the game will go ahead in Lansdowne Road following discussions between the FAI and the French football federation.
