Eircom League: Cork move to third after victory
Dundalk 1 Cork City 3
Cork moved up to third in table after this fully deserved win at Oriel Park.
Conor O'Grady shot City in front on the half-hour mark, drilling home after Dundalk failed to clear an Ollie Cahill corner.
Cahill was again involved for City's second killer goal on 72 minutes.
He robbed the ball from Aaron Callghan to set-up Noel Hartigan for a close-range finish.
Hartigan added his second to make it 3-0 on 85 minutes when heading in after Cahill's shot was parried by John Connolly.
Ger Robinson got Dundalk's consolation goal a minute later.
