Champions League: United through to second stage

Manchester United are through to the second stage of the Champions League after they defeated Olympiakos 3-0 in the Group G clash.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Ryan Giggs and Ruud van Nistelrooy scored the goals.

Celtic made qualification a mere impossibility after losing 2-0 to Rosenborg in Norway.

Former Celtic player Harold Brattbakk got both the goals.
