Soccer: Gould stays mum on plans
Celtic goalkeeper Jonathan Gould is refusing to set a time limit on his career at Parkhead.
The Scotland international has slipped down to third choice at the club behind Rob Douglas and Dmitri Kharine.
But the former Bradford and Coventry keeper insists that he will not disappear easily into the background after his four years at Celtic.
‘‘You can’t say how long you will wait. When I first came to the club, I didn’t expect to play as many games as I have done,’’ said Gould.
‘‘So I’m not going to start worrying about the future in any way.
‘‘I will take it in my stride, but my priority is that I would love to play for Celtic Football Club again.
‘‘I get frustrated, but the boys are doing well. But I have enjoyed being at this club for four years and had a lot of success. So I will just bide my time and hopefully get another chance.’’
