Premiership: Owen signs four-year deal

Michael Owen has signed a new four-year contract to make him the highest-paid player in Liverpool's history.

Negotiations were concluded just four days after Owen's hamstring injury flared up again, forcing him to miss the next four weeks of action for the Merseysiders.
