Eircom League: FAI to dock points from St Pat's

The FAI have revealed that they will dock St Patrick’s Athletic points after they fielded an ineligible player for the first three games of the season.

The Irish soccer governing body decided to give the points deduction instead of the £1,000 fine they had originally handed to the Dublin side after Shelbourne appealed the decision not to dock points.
