Eircom League: St Patrick’s Athletic fined

St Patrick’s Athletic have been fined £1,000 and warned about their future administration for lining out with Paul Marney in their opening three league games.

The Eircom league ruled that St Patrick's had inadvertently broken the rules after failing to send the player’s registration by registered post.
