Soccer: Zidane wants to prove his value

Zinedine Zidane is determined to prove that Real Madrid "did good business" by paying Juventus a world-record £48m for him.

"The transfer happened the way it was, that's not my problem," the French ace said.

"What I am going to do now is try to play well and make Real Madrid feel that it did a good business move."

Zidane is in Chile with the French national team to play a friendly match on Saturday.

The match has been organized as a farewell tribute to striker Ivan Zamorano, who is retiring from the Chilean squad.

Zidane said he is not worried by the fact that he is yet to make his mark with Real.

"I am not at all worried, because the season is just beginning.

"As weeks pass I will feel better in the team."
