Premiership: Liverpool close in on Jerzy Dudek

Goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek has reportedly waived his right to a £300,000 pay-off to ensure that his transfer from Feyenoord to Liverpool goes ahead.

According to his agent, the 28-year-old relinquished his share of the transfer fee because of “his desire to become a Liverpool player”.
