Irish winger Mark Kennedy is out of Saturday's crucial World Cup qualifier against Holland on Saturday.

The Wolves star has suffered a groin injury and has returned to England.

Ian Harte and Roy Keane are to join the squad tomorrow and manager Mick McCarthy today said that if Harte fails to make it in time, either Gary Kelly or Steve Finnan will play left back.

Steve Staunton and Richard Dunne both remain intact in central defence.

The Irish manager should also find out later on today if his side will face Dutch midfielder Edgar Davids.

The Dutch are hoping his suspension will be halved by the Italian FA.
