SPL: Rangers still after Hutchison
Rangers chairman David Murray has not given up hope of signing Don Hutchison from Sunderland despite insisting that he will not meet the Wearsiders' valuation.
The Scotland international is set to leave the Stadium of Light with former club West Ham also chasing the player.
Glasgow rivals Celtic have also been linked with the unsettled midfielder.
But Murray, who saw a £4m bid rejected last week, is determined to add Hutchison to his squad.
"We had an offer of £4m turned down on Thursday," said Murray.
"Sunderland are now demanding £6m and we have told them that we won't pay it.
"But I'm still working on this deal and have not given up hope."
