Premiership: No-show for Stam after Lazio bid

Jaap Stam was absent from Manchester United's squad to face Aston Villa in the wake of a bid from Lazio for the Dutch defender.

The Italian club have made an offer estimated to be in the region of £16m to £18m for Stam, following the controversy over his autobiography.
