Premiership: Arsenal and Leeds urged to end feud

The chief executive of the British Football Association has urged Arsenal and Leeds to end the rising tensions between the two clubs.

Adam Crozier called on Arsenal vice-chairman David Dein and Leeds chairman Peter Ridsdale to meet and sort out the problems that led to Lee Bowyer and Danny Mills being sent off on Tuesday night.

Both players were yesterday reported for verbally abusing the officials and face having their one-match bans extended to three.

It will be the third consecutive time the FA has had to investigate incidents in games between Arsenal and Leeds.

Four people have been sent off during the two club’s last seven meetings and more than 50 yellow cards have been awarded.
