Premiership: Merson to remain at Villa Park

Aston Villa captain Paul Merson has re-affirmed his desire to finish his career at Villa Park after clear-the-air talks with club chairman Doug Ellis.

Merson had previously said he was concerned about the club's future after another poor season last year.
