Soccer: Veron misses out

Lazio have left passport-scandal-ridden Juan Sebastian Veron in Rome for their final game of the Italian season tomorrow.

The Argentinian midfielder was told yesterday he faces a two-year ban from Italian football, which could be extended worldwide by FIFA, after he was found to have obtained at Italian passport illegally.
