Soccer: England are earning respect - Eriksson

Sven-Goran Eriksson declared that England were starting to win back respect around Europe as he challenged his players to continue the rebirth of the national side against Mexico tonight.

Eriksson plans to field his first-choice line-up from the start at Pride Park, although he will make a host of half-time substitutions and there is again an injury doubt over Steven Gerrard.
