Robbie Fowler has put Liverpool back in the lead against Alaves in the Uefa Cup final at Dortmund.

Liverpool 4, Alaves 3 (latest)

Robbie Fowler has put Liverpool back in the lead against Alaves in the Uefa Cup final at Dortmund.

Moreno scored two goals in three minutes to level the sides - just when it looked likely that Liverpool were going to run away with the match.

Markus Babbel opened the scoring for Liverpool with just four minutes on the clock, and 12 minutes later Steven Gerrard put them two up.

Alonso Ivan pulled one back for Alaves in the 27th minute, but Gary McAllister put Liverpool two ahead again just before half-time from the spot.

The Alaves goalkeeper was deemed to have brought down Michael Owen in the box and McAllister duly converted the spot-kick.

Within minutes of the restart Alaves were level. Moreno scored in the 48th minute and then pulled the sides level in the 51st minute when his free-kick fooled the Liverpool wall and went into the net.
