Soccer: Redknapp puts brake on comeback

Jamie Redknapp has vowed that he will not rush back into action just to be part of Liverpool’s cup final double next month.

Redknapp came through his first competitive match of the season for Liverpool reserves against Blackburn and would be forgiven for thinking in terms of a first-team comeback in the week of the FA Cup final in Cardiff on May 12 and the UEFA Cup final in Dortmund the following Wednesday.
