Premiership: Lee doubt for Magpies

Newcastle midfield Rob Lee is a major doubt for tomorrow’s trip to Sunderland with a niggling knee injury.

However, Nolberto Solano is available after delaying his departure to join up with the Peru World Cup squad and Aaron Hughes will return after being rested for Monday’s 2-1 win over West Ham.

Warren Barton (Achilles) Andy Griffin (groin) and Shola Ameobi (shoulder) should all be fit.
