Soccer: Ireland three goals to the good

Andorra 0, Ireland 3 (latest)

Ireland have three goals and and are likely to collect three points against Andorra in Barcelona.

Matt Holland got the third for the side after Kevin Kilbane had put Ireland ahead just four minutes earlier.

A cross, headed by Robbie Keane, was saved by the keeper but fell to Kilbane who tapped in past Sanchez.

Ian Harte scored the first from the spot in the 33rd minute after Roy Keane was brought down by the goalkeeper.

Robbie Keane and Matt Holland missed chances for the away side in the first half.

Gary Doherty replaced David Connolly after 26 mins - the switch is thought to be tactical.

A substantial victory for Ireland would put them top of the group if Holland beat Portugal in the clash of the section's favourites in Oporto.
