Soccer: Litmanen out for six weeks
Liverpool's bid for triple cup glory has been dealt a blow with the news that Jari Litmanen will be out for six weeks after breaking his wrist in Finland's defeat by England.
Litmanen will miss the FA Cup semi-final against Wycombe and both legs of the Uefa Cup semi-final against former club Barcelona.
He will also miss Premiership games against Manchester United and Leeds as well as the Merseyside derby with Everton.
Litmanen has only just recovered from a groin strain, and Liverpool's assistant manager Phil Thompson said: "It's a massive blow because we need all the players for all the important games coming up."
