Blackburn insist they have not received an approach from Manchester United to take goalkeeper Alan Kelly on loan.

United have problems ahead of their Champions League quarter-final against Bayern Munich with both Fabien Barthez and Raimond van der Gouw injured and have been given permission by UEFA to sign a keeper on loan.
