Brian Kidd has been appointed head coach of Leeds and will take up his new position before the clash with his former club Manchester United at Elland Road.

Brian Kidd has been appointed head coach of Leeds and will take up his new position before the clash with his former club Manchester United at Elland Road.

Kidd, appointed youth development coach by Leeds last May, has now been invited to take on the new role by Leeds boss David O'Leary.
