Liverpool are expected to hold an investigation into how 'Arrivederci Roma' was blasted out from the Anfield tannoys within minutes of their controversial Uefa Cup victory over the Italians.

Liverpool had lost 1-0 to the Serie A leaders but qualified for the quarter-finals thanks to Michael Owen's two goals from the first leg in Rome.
